Pro Bono Projects

For UCI law students doing pro bono work that requires intensive research.

Research Guide for Pro Bono Projects

This legal research guide is intended to provide good starting points for the most research intensive pro bono projects at UCI Law. The guide focuses specifically on topics related to pro bono projects involving multiple students conducting remote research. For additional topics and sources, try the following:

  • Check our Legal Treatises by Subject list for a good starting point; or
  • Ask one of the helpful reference librarians! The Reference Desk is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop by, call (949) 824-6746, or email

Law students, please let me know if there is a project or type of resource that you think I should add to this guide.
