A joint project by the Stanford Law Library and Justia hosts a free online database called SCOCAL of California Supreme Court documents that may not be freely available via the Court's website.
There are six appellate disctricts in California. Orange County is included in the Fourth District, Division Three. Los Angeles County is included in the First District. The California Court's website has a page on Appellate Courts, with links to each court and appellate briefs.
